GoPro 10 Black
This thing has issues—freezes up, struggles with temperature, and loses footage. But the audio is decent, it’s stealthy, and rugged enough to handle anything, so I still keep it around as a bodycam.
Sony X3000
Awesome picture quality and decent stabilization give it the best “real” vlog vibe—feels like you’re right in the scene. The sound is clear but noisy, and I wish it had USB-C. Can’t delete footage directly on PC, only through camera settings, but it’s super reliable and lasts a long time.
Sony A7C
Main camera for buttery smooth B-roll shots. EV-finder, 10-bit is all I need.
Insta360 X3
Perfect for capturing everything in one shot and editing later, especially during risky activities. The slow start time and low image and audio quality are drawbacks, but it’s still handy for recording without worrying about missing any angle.
Tamron 28-75mm F/2.8
Affordable zoom lens with surprisingly good image quality. It’s a bit bulky, but the versatility it offers makes it totally worth it for a range of shots.
Sony 20mm F/1.8
Not the widest, but it’s affordable compared to wide zooms. Works well enough for vlogging and super lightweight, so it’s easy to carry around all day.
Anker PowerCore
I can’t leave home without it! Charges my phone and camera multiple times, and it’s small enough to fit in my pocket. It’s a lifesaver when I’m out all day.
Sony 50mm F/1.2
The bokeh is amazing, and it’s super sharp. It’s a bit heavy, but the image quality is worth it.
Sony ECM-B1M
I love the sound quality, but it’s a bit bulky and not as versatile as I’d like. Still, it’s a great mic for capturing surroundings.
Shure SM7B
Top-notch mic for podcasting—delivers super clear, professional-quality audio. Can’t go wrong with it if you want your voice to sound its best.
Ulanzi MT-08
A small, lightweight tripod that fits in my fanny pack. Perfect for on-the-go vlogging.
Neewer Tripod
Heavy and bulky. Great for time-lapses and long exposure shots.
